A Maldives National who pleaded guilty to possessing ecstasy pills was sentenced to 7 years Rigorous Imprisonment by the Colombo High Court.
The verdict was delivered by the Colombo High Court Judge Amal Ranaraja.
The Attorney General filed an indictment against the Maldivian National Zidan Ibrahim for possessing ecstasy pills in Nedimala area on May 16, 2018. He was arrested by the Special Task Force Organized Crime Division during a raid carried out in the Dehiwala Nedimala area.
