Before he's the one to knock breaking Bad Cranston's breakout performance was as Hal Wilkerson, the family patriarch, earning three Emmy nominations over the show's six years.

In 2019, the friends teamed up to release their own mezcal artesanal, disappointing fans hoping for a breaking Bad the comeback. (Hey, at least he made an appearance El Camino, Netflix breaking Bad sequel movie?)

Following these impressive races, Cranston went on to receive critical acclaim for his work in films such as Trumbo (which earned him his first Oscar name) and Dog Island, as well as the HBO TV movie All the, with his portrait of the president Lyndon B. Johnson which earned him a SAG award. Before it hits the small screen, All the had a beloved Broadway run, with Cranston winning a Tony for his stage work. He again won a 2019 Tony for his return to the stage in Network.

But in 2016, Cranston told E! News he hoped for Malcolm in the middle an awakening would end up happening, saying, "I hope so ... I really do, for no other reason I miss these people like crazy and I keep in touch with them. The boys are doing great and Jane is doing wonderfully well and I'd love to. "
