It’s been so long since I’ve done a beauty related post, I’m so excited to finally be doing another make up review!
Make Up Revolution are the latest brand to offer really good quality make up products at really affordable prices.'Makeup Revolutionlaunched in London in March 2014 delivering revolutionary performance and quality, in every product at revolutionary prices. Made with the finest ingredients, the range starts at an amazing £1, with a range of professional and must have products with limited edition collections – you can finally afford them all!’Let’s get down to the review…Essential mattes palette:This palette has a great range of colours that are suitable for everybody whatever the occasion, the colours blend really well and you can create an array of different smokey eye looks with this palette alone! The colours are well pigmented; the first few colours in this palette are quite pale however they are perfect for a base color or highlighting. This palette is perfect if you don’t like shimmery eye shadows, matte colours are my favorite and I’m so pleased I found this palette!Essential Matte Palette-£4Matte Brights Palette:
This palette won’t be for everybody however I was drawn to this from the moment I clapped eyes on it, I’m not afraid to experiment with colours when it comes to make up, I know lots of people who like to stay safe with natural colours. This palette is perfect for the summer, again the colours are very pigmented and blend really well although as you can see from the swatches, the first few colours are quite pale but would look fab for a subtle bit of color. I created a yellow smokey eye look for the Tour De France and it works exactly how I hoped, I was a little worried that being a cheap palette the colours wouldn’t look as vibrant as they appear in the palette, I was pleasantly surprised! I really can’t wait to try out more looks with this palette!Matte Brights Palette-£4Lip Power-Life is what you make it:
This is a duo lipstick and lipgloss in one, wear it separately or together! I love this concept, sometimes I like my lips to look more matte sometimes I prefer a glossy look depending on the look I’m going for that day. The pigmentation of this lipstick is amazing and the color is so stunning! The staying power is also really good! It lasts on my lips for ages with or without the gloss, I’ll definitely be buying more colours!
Lip Power duo Lipsticks-£3Salvation Intense Lip Lacquer:
This is a stunning lipgloss in a very pretty colour, as you may know I love my pink lip colours! This lipgloss is really pigmented so you don’t need to waste loads of product on building up the colour, the staying power is amazingly good compared to a lot of other lipglosses I’ve tried, I’m so happy with this lipgloss! Again, I’ll be buying this in the other available colours!
Intense Lip Lacquer £3
Focus & Fix eye primer:I’ve never tried an eye primer before so I was really looking forward to seeing if eye primers are really worth buying. I usually find my eye make up starts to fade after a few hours, This Primer applied really well to my eye lids and really helped to keep my eye make up on longer, I also found my eye shadow applied better after using this primer, everything blended so much better and my gel eyeliner was easier to apply, I’d definitely recommend this primer!
Below are some photos of a makeup look using the matte brights palette I created for the Tour De France sporting yellow eye shadow which is an iconic color in Tour De France!
