By Ctbas @ctbas

These are easy to make and very tasty. They make a great lunchbox addition, too.

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 small carrot, chopped
2T oil
1/4 cup water
3 S&B Japanese curry cubes (or 2T curry powder and salt to taste)
Puff pastry sheets
1 Egg

Defrost pastry sheets and preheat oven to 400°F.

Sauté onion and carrot in oil. (Add curry powder at this point, if using.) Then add ground beef.

Add curry cubes and water. Cook until meat is done and water has reduced. Let cool.

Cut each pastry sheet into 9 squares. Fill each square with beef. Cover with another square and seal. You can also fold each square in half to make triangles.

Brush the top of each with a beaten egg.

Bake until golden brown. Approximately 25-30 minutes.
