Aagadu starring Mahesh Babu has completed its first weekend at the box office and here is how the complete picture is at the end of three days worldwide. After a big opening in AP and Telangana, the film has slid pretty quickly in these states. The overall collections for the weekend as a result are therefore slightly less than Jr NTR’s Baadshah which released in summer last year and that too with less ticket price. That means Aagadu is at number 3 in terms of opening weekend if we look at the states level.
Now when it comes to worldwide it is a whole new ball game as this is where Superstar Mahesh Babu unleashes his true box office power. The collections in US are sensational and on par with the biggest grosser of All Time for the weekend. This puts Aagadu way ahead in terms of opening weekend numbers compared to a number of films including that of Baadshah which had slight lead locally.
Overall the first weekend collections for the film in AP and Telangana are in the region of 16.35-16.40 Cr where as the Worldwide numbers are in the range of 26.5-27 Cr range due to exceptional performance in overseas. Keep checking this space for complete break up as the day progresses.
