Magical Wedding Video in Paros | Julie & Benjamin

By Eleni Balkouli @Love4Wed

Julie and Benjamin wanted to keep it all simple and natural and let the beauty of Paros island to shine. They chose to decorate their wedding with romantic details such as fresh flowers in white and pastel pink hues, greenery and many candles. The breathtaking backdrop of the deep blue sea was enough for an unforgettable, impressive wedding ceremony. After their ceremony, the couple, their family and friends celebrated love with many laughs and dance under the starry sky… Enjoy each moment through the magical video by Vasilis Kantarakis Films!

The bride shared with us: “Ben and I met when I was studying abroad in Belgium. We had what some might call a fairy-tale romance! After I moved back to the US, Ben and I continued to date long-distance. After a year, he made the leap and moved to the US to be with me. We ended up having some immigration issues and Ben had to move back to Belgium for a few months. Little did I know, he spent these months working hard to save for a ring. After being reunited, we took a little getaway to Mexico, where Ben proposed on a beach at sunset!”

“I don’t know how to describe our wedding video other than magical. Vasilis did the perfect job of capturing how special and fun our day was! My favorite moment is when the video is edited to show us saying our vows in both French and English at the same time.” “We tried to keep our style simple and let the natural beauty of Paros take center stage. For florals, we had greenery and sprinkled in white and light pink roses. It’s hard to pinpoint one moment that was the best. We had friends and family travel all the way from both Belgium and the US to help celebrate our wedding. Every moment that we shared in Paros with them was a special memory to be treasured forever! My dress was a Badgley Mischka a-line dress with a deep v in both the front and the back. My favorite part of the dress is the skirt – alternating layers of blush and ivory tulle.”

“Love4Weddings wedding blog was very helpful in planning my wedding. As I’m not from Greece, I needed all the beautiful Greek wedding inspiration I could find!”
