Verdict on Maggie Moore(s)
Maggie Moore(s) is a crime comedy following a police officer trying to solve the murder of two women with the same name. However, along the way a string of events reveals a bigger mystery going on, sending them down different paths searching for answers.
This is an entertaining comedy that is filled with twists and turns, despite us knowing the truth. It is more playing into how we can react to the police officers trying to solve the case too. Also showing how the people behind it believe they might be clear and deal with the consequences. While it has plenty of laughs, the mystery really isn’t there because we know the truth behind what happened. So, this means that even though the story offers plenty of twists of the police, if offers us nothing to guess along the lines of as the audience.
Final Thoughts – Maggie Moore(s) is an oddball crime comedy.
