Verdict on Mafia Mamma
Mafia Mamma is an action comedy following an American mom who discovers she is the new head of the Mafia. She must reluctantly take over the head of the family leading to her making changes in the system. However, things don’t go as planned and she must deal with people trying to kill her.
This comedy tends to miss the marks more often than not. It also sees them playing into the painful stereotypes of the Italian people. The action tends to be wild shootouts that are meant to be mindlessly chaotic. Ultimately, it tends to miss most of the jokes and plays too heavily into painful stereotypes.
Where to Watch: Mafia Mamma streaming on Prime Video on 17th November.
Final Thoughts – Mafia Mamma is a stereotypical comedy which lacks the laughs.
