Madonna and Age-ism

So, you probably saw or heard that Madonna took an almighty tumble off the stage at the Brit awards. This has promoted many a discussion on the Internet, with some praising her for giving age-ism the middle finger.

While I acknowledge that she's never followed the rules, I disagree that she's not conforming to Hollywood standards of age and beauty.
