Aaliyah Mac inspired by the late singer’s flawless makeup is here.
MAC cosmetics launched the limited edition makeup line June 20th with the help of the late singer’s brother Rashad Haughton.
“My mother has these storage units that she always talks about trying to downsize,” Haughton shared with Vogue. “She actually has my sister’s makeup, her lipsticks [in there] still. We were able to grab them and show them to MAC.”
An online petition that pleaded for MAC to consider creating the line is how the collection came to fruition.
Haughton says that Aaliyah was a big fan of the cosmetics line. Her favorite products were: Chelsea Lipstick, Cherish Lipstick, Chestnut Lipliner, espresso eyeshadow, and biscuit eyeshadow.
