Lyra is a documentary following the career of Northern Irish investigative journalist Lyra McKee. The movie starts with the tragedy that shocks the journalism world when Lyra is killed reporting on a riot in Northern Ireland.
This gets to show us how her hard work gave her a massive reputation for highlighting important issues. She tackled understanding how Northern Ireland lived in the shadow of the previous battles.
This is a tribute to the work she achieved the messages she sent out and the importance. It shows how the country was still not as together as it wanted to be after her death.
