Lenght. Volume. Lift

Ladies, whip off those falsies, there’s a new kid on the beauty block! Heat eyelash curlers, curl eyelashes, add falsies, curl eyelashes, coat with mascara, repeat. Eyelash curlers and falsies have always been my secret weapon when it comes to creating striking lashes that give the illusion of endless length. However, on holiday, I prefer a more fresh faced look that is a little more MIC and generally less TOWIE. I was fully prepared to brave the beach sans mascara *sob* when my beautician told me about LVL (length, volume, lift).

Koko Beauty 1 200x300 LVL Lash Review

LVL Treatment room at Koko Beauty Spa…

LVL is a lash treatment that is whipping up a frenzy in celebrity beauty circles and it promises long, fluttery lashes without falsies, lash curlers or even mascara. Hooray! I used to love false lashes but I didn’t love the maintenance that came with them. The lugging around of eyelash glue and tweezers, the constant checking ‘Is my eyelash still on?!!!’ and waking up with one plastered on your forehead. Sound familiar? With LVL you get fabulously lifted lashes that last. The lashes are straightened and lifted to give you a wonderful wide awake look that really opens up your eyes making them look larger.

LVL 300x300 LVL Lash Review

I was so excited that I forgot to take a before pic but this is the after pic and I can promise that these lashes haven’t seen the end of a mascara wand or been clamped between a lash curler. They have been tinted and curled using a silicon shield and I have to say I’m now in love with my natural lashes. The treatment itself is really relaxing; I actually fell asleep during mine! (Sorry Kim).

So, if you are planning for your jollies, make sure you add LVL to your pre flight beauty treatments and enjoy luscious lashes for up to six weeks. I had mine done by the lovely Kim at Koko Beauty Spa and I’m thrilled with the results. If you live in the Wakefield/Huddersfield area, I recommend a visit. Did I mention there are also chocolate facials? Yum! X
