LUSH 'The Kiss' Lip Scrub

In the colder months I find a lip scrub is an essential in my makeup bag. Today I'm sharing my thoughts on the latest offering from LUSH as part of their limited edition Valentine's Day range; rather aptly named 'The Kiss'. You may have spotted a brief mention in this post, but it's well worth a closer look.
If you go back through the archives you'll see I've mentioned LUSH lip scrubs on Hello Freckles before. Priced at £5.50 for 30ml, the lip scrubs may seem a bit pricey but I firmly believe you get what you pay for with LUSH and they last ages!The Kiss* is a little different to the other scrubs from LUSH. It's the usual sugar and oil blended scrub, but with sea salt for extra exfoliation and a sprinkling of hundreds and thousands and edible hearts. The mandarin scent is zesty and uplifting and if you've got a sweet tooth, this will be right up your street - especially with those little edible treats! 
I'd recommend using a lip scrub a couple times a week at the most and this scrub is slightly more gritty than others I've tried. Even though I've not been using it long, I'm already seeing the results and followed by Nuxe Reve de Miel, it's a great combination to add to your Sunday night pamper routine.
The edible sprinkles and the hearts may be a bit of a gimmick to some, but I don't mind them. I like the way it's more Valentine's orientated than other scrubs but equally quirky enough to be a thoughtful gift without screaming 'be my valentine!' in a dramatic fashion. While this limited edition version is on shelves, I'm sure it'll rival the equally pink Bubblegum, so pick it up while you can.
