We’ve heard a lot of people talking about Lower Dens but hadn’t quite yet had the chance to check it out until we came across this video in our inbox – and it quickly became apparent Jana Hunter’s band are one well worth your time. Brooding with intelligence and a wistful art-pop aesthetic, ‘To Die in LA’ could appeal to fans of anyone from Dutch Uncles to Rilo Kiley.
Glorious harmonies, dream-like guitar lines and some simply stunning orchestral melodies – what’s not to love?
