Lowcountry Smokehouse Draft Dinner Announced in Downtown Charleston

Southend Brewery and Smokehouse along with Charleston Culinary Tours present Lowcountry Smokehouse Draft Dinner on Wednesday, January 29th at 7pm at the downtown restaurant located at 161 E. Bay Street. Chef Garrett Priester & Sous Chef Jonathan DuPriest have prepared an authentic, five-course menu that showcases Southend Brewery beers that are thoughtfully paired with dishes inspired by seasonal flavors and local ingredients with a unique smokehouse style twist.  First Course: Local Oyster Trio

On the Half Shell with “Watch it Grow” Mignonette, smoked with Warm Bacon Gastrique & Micro Spinach and Fried & Tossed in House BBQ with Pineapple Relish

Located in the historic Wagener Building on East Bay Street, Southend Brewery and Smokehouse showcases Chef Garrett Priester’s appreciation for Lowcountry cooking defined by Southern Gullah and French cuisine. The dishes feature local ingredients and sustainable seafood from local purveyors, as well as infuse the distinct brewery flavors of Southend’s signature beers.
