“We met at my family lake house years ago through one of my friends who also has a family lake house. My friend who also has a lake house was dating Nicks brother at the time (they are now married) and Nick was visiting at her house that weekend and I met him there. Nick and I built and moved into our new home in January 2021 and we hosted Thanksgiving at our home with both of our families November 2021 and he proposed in front of everyone during the prayer before we ate”, the bride shared with us.
“We had a very intimate wedding with just family at the White Rocks in Kefalonia. We got married there because Nicks grandmom is from Kefalonia. She grew up in Kerameies village and still has a home there. She lives in US now with Nicks granddad, but they spend 4-5 months out of the year in Kefalonia where his grandmom’s sister and brother still live. We went on a big family trip to Kefalonia and Nick and I decided we wanted to get married where his grandmom is from. It was the most beautiful wedding ever! My flowers and decorations were perfect. We picked white florals with lots of hydrangeas and gold decor”.
