Brianne and Harrison’s wedding on the beautiful Greek island of Kefalonia is full of fresh blooms and gold details that we truly love. Designed and planned by Kefalonia Weddings, this destination wedding in Greece was decorated with lush greenery and lovely florals in pure white and bright yellow shades from Bosonis Flowers Events Gardening. Gorgeous greenery garlands with gold minimal candles and unique favors created a pretty and oh-so-romantic setting! Makis Klonis was there to entertain the couple and its guests, providing an ultimate music experience for all wedding guests. You can definitely feel all the love in the images by Vicky Bekiaridou Photography.

“My wedding dress was a Stella York, from Bliss Bridal in Fort Worth, Texas”.
“We met in Jan 2019 while Harrison was going to grad school at Arizona State University and Brianne was working in Downtown Phoenix. We met the old fashion way; a dating app. Harrison took Brianne to a quaint little restaurant called Cibo for their first date and talked for hours over pizza and vino. From that first date they both new there was something special. Harrison proposed June 2021, taking Brianne to the Grand Canyon to watch the beautiful morning sunrise, as the sun peaked over the canyon he pulled out the cushion cut engagement ring and popped the question”, the bride shared with us.
“The style of the wedding really came from looking and perusing Pinterest for hours to get inspiration for our wedding atheistic. We wanted to keep it clean, elegant, and simple to let the beauty of the surroundings of Kefalonia to speak for themselves. We also knew we wanted little personal touches of us and our relationship to standout. Having a wedding planner like Kefalonia weddings really made it all come to life, we sent her the ideas of the table settings and the floral decorations and she made it happen. The personal touches were our favorite, we had cocktail napkins made with our dog Chloe on them, getting married so far from the states we wanted to include her somehow and it was the perfect way. We hand wrote thank you letters to each of our guests and that served as their place card. We incorporated an ice cream cart for a late-night dessert as a nod to our 2nd date but also our love of the dessert. We even had wedding favors customized to honor Harrison’s late Greek grandparents. Many of our guests had not traveled internationally before and we wanted to make the night as memorable as possible, the fireworks show, no one knew about (even our parents) and it was a great surprise to kick off the party, dancing, and celebration of the evening”.
“Our best moment was the love and joy that we experienced throughout the day. Not only for each other as the bride and groom, but from our family and friends. To look around and see everyone really coming together, traveling thousands of miles and having the time of their life to celebrate our love and marriage, was really a once and a lifetime feeling”.
Bride’s advice: “A wedding planner especially one like Donna from Kefalonia weddings made planning an international wedding seamless and as stress free as possible. Also brides will get a lot of opinions, but remember it’s your special day to honor the love and commitment of you and your soon to be husband. Keep your eye on that and the rest will fall into place”.
