You can't go wrong with a bit of denim but if I'm really honest I only ever wear jeans. There may be the odd occassion where if I'm on my jollies I'll pop a light denim jacket on, or wear a denim skirt at a festival but that is as daring as it gets.
I saw these denim dungarees and eyed them up for a good twenty minutes debating if I could pull them off. Would I look like I was dressing too young? Would my thighs looks big in them? What would I wear them for?
I wanted to be the daring person I promised I'd be on the 1st January 2014, and I decided these denim dungarees from F&F would begin residency in my wardrobe. I've styled how I feel is best for this time of year and you can see my style and other looks on the F&F How You're Wearing It.
What I'm wearing: Dungarees - F&F Denim Dungarees* - £18.00Shirt - F&F Polka Dot Shirt*- £16.00Tights - F&F Black Tights - £4.00Shoes - F&F Bow Loafers (from 2012)Headband - H&MNecklace - Anna Lou of London Name NecklaceI don't usually go for shirts and if I do I certainly don't button them all the way to the top, but for some reason I felt the way I've worn it really works the look so much better. I love a messy up look! All I've done is grab a bundle of hair and kirby grip it then literally just tied the band in. I don't ever really like to overdo my accessories if my outfit is 'busy' as I do feel less is more. With this look I would rather keep it simple then throw in a cheeky vibrant lip shade instead.
I am quite proud of myself for taking a daring fashion step (for me anyway) and actually wearing dungarees! I absolutely love them and will honestly be rocking this entire look when I'm finished on Saturday afternoon when I see my friends.
So dungarees? They're cute, charming and work for winter with tights and summer with little pumps.... and I love them! How would you style them??
