Just a little Sunday DYI project to add that little detail to your wedding. It is also something that you can use for years to come for cocktail parties, luncheons, dinner events and social gatherings.
Add a little pizazz to you ice cubes! This is so simple and yet has such a great impact on guest. Take thoroughly washed fruit and place them into the old fashioned ice trays (you know...the ones I grew up with). Pour warm water over the fruit and freeze. Within 8 hours you will have yourself a dazzling ice cube.
Just store the ice cubes in a container with saran wrap over the top to prevent freezer burn. Continue the process until you have a lovely selection of ice cubes.
You can also use fresh lemon and lime juice and freeze them into handle cubes.
I particularly love the added touch of basil to the cubes giving it a multi colored appearance.
