Love Niche Studio

By Hellofreckles @tashajsteel
Love Niche StudioOn Thursday night, after a busy day of filming for uni, I hopped on the metro through to Newcastle to have a look around the Love Niche Studio and I certainly wasn't disappointed!
Love Niche StudioI walked in, a little flustered from (practically) running from the metro station and was greeted by Nisha, the owner and stylist behind Love Niche who looked amazing and was really lovely to chat to. She offered me a drink and a selection of food from a fantastic buffet and Laura showed me through to the studio.

As I walked through onto the cream carpets with my champagne (and raspberries, a nice little twist on the usual strawberries... I say usual, I've had strawberries in champagne maybe twice now?) I felt like I was in the dressing room for Gossip Girl! I also found myself hoping the soles of my boots were clean so I didn't leave muddy footprints on the immaculate carpet. How embarrassing would that have been?!

I had to get a photo of this amazing selection, all from the cheese shop in the Grainger Market (which I will be taking my boyfriend to sometime soon, not that he knows it yet!) On the top we've got chili cheese, cheddar, garlic cheese and wensleydale with cranberries? then on the bottom brie, nettle cheese, strawberries and champagne? and sticky toffee fudge cheese! Aside from the savoury nibbles, there was an assortment of mini desserts from Deli Delivered and Desserts Delivered (we're talking Oreo Cheesecakes, marshmallows and fudges and all sorts of lovely things). Spoilt for choice!Love Niche StudioI had a look around at the pieces, nibbled on my selection of cheeses and mingled with some new blogger faces. At around 7/7.15pm, the bloggers took up front row seats at the bottom end of the studio to watch our own exclusive the fashion show showcasing A/W 2013 pieces, all of which were stunning and the models (students from Northumbria) were brilliant as well as ridiculously pretty!
Love Niche StudioJust look at her, doesn't she look amazing?!

I really recommend popping along to Love Niche if you're in the Newcastle area (it's above Olive and Bean on the outside of the Grainger Market, look up and you can't miss it). It's a hidden gem in the city and has so many gorgeous pieces; you will build up a considerable wish list while you're browsing! I'm already lusting after the sequin dress (at the front of the first photo) and the tartan blazer below. The studio is quickly approaching its' first birthday (early December) and there are due to be a number of exciting activities taking place at Love Niche at the end of this month. Keep an eye on their twitter account for more details, I know I'll be trying to make it along to at least one of them.

Channelling my inner Blair Waldorf in this Love Niche tartan blazer (hint hint something like this for Christmas please!) I felt a bit too casually dressed surrounded by so many evening gowns; silk and sequins everywhere but Nisha, the owner of the studio and the designer of the pieces really made everyone feel comfortable and her staff Laura and Rachel who were assisting with the event both had a great sense of style. Since visiting the studio I really need to get myself in gear, give my wardrobe a good tidy and get back into outfit posts and blogging about fashion/style.
