Story: Love at First Sight starts when constantly late American Hadley (Richardson) misses her flight to London. This leads to her booking the next flight when fate finds her meeting Oliver (Hardy). The two strike up an unlikely spark and their time on a flight to London as they find out what love could be.

As the flight unfolds, they learn the two are different but have deeper dreams of the same thing. The pair find themselves rushing around London to complete their days and falling in love along the way. However, the question is whether they can have that chance to meet again or not.

Verdict on Love at First Sight

Love at First Sight is a romantic comedy following two strangers who meet on a plane trip to London. They come from different worlds and are traveling for different reasons but find an unlikely connection on their journey. It follows the two as they wonder what could happen in London and afterwards.

This is one of the most generic bland romantic comedies you will ever see. The dialog between Hadley and Oliver is painfully unrealistic with the narrator popping up in Hadley’s life is too on the chin. However, despite the complaints, the reason for the traveling is excellent. Along with the highlight of most rom-coms, the supporting cast brings the story to life in the second half of the movie. Sadly, Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy don’t have any real chemistry which holds the movie back from the love impact it truly wants to give us.

Where to Watch: Love at First Sight is available to watch on Netflix now.

Final ThoughtsLove at First Sight is a painfully generic romantic comedy.
