Happy Thursday Friends! I can’t believe how quickly this week (and this month) has flown by! Hello November! This time of year is so hectic with the holidays. I’m trying to stay ahead-slash-afloat with the house, Thanksgiving dinner, and holiday shopping… not to mention planning for another little one in the future. It’s not easy for sure! Anyhow, I’m sure all of y’all are just as busy. PLEASE let me know your secrets for keeping track of things (like life).
So when you love fashion, sometimes you daydream about random fashion things… like one day, I’ll own ______. Well, one of my “bucket list” fashion things was to own a Louis Vuitton clothing piece. Have you ever walked into one of their boutiques and perused the clothing section? It’s exquisite! Marc Jacobs is a fashion genius, and his designs embody both modernity and femininity. I love love love it.
So imagine my surprise when browsing the “clearance” rack of Clothes Circuit and stumbling upon this blue cashmere beauty. Of course, I was a completely giddy inside and screamed in my head. Immediately, I tried it on… and IT WAS MINE for the cost of a cashmere sweater (less than $200)!!!! FYI, LV clothing pieces usually start $1000 and up! AND, it just so happens to have some “decor” on it so I don’t even have to worry about a necklace. Double SCORE!
And of course, I wore it with culottes! I’m sure you’re tired of them, but I’m not! These faux leather gauchos give a little more edge to the outfit (in addition to the pretty major shoulder pads which I love)!
THE STYLE Rx: A cashmere sweater is your winter BFF. Just find a style that works well for you. It can be a turtleneck/rollneck, crewneck, boatneck, poncho, etc. They look luxurious AND keep you warm… stylish and functional which is a plus plus! P.S. If you live in the DFW area, you should really check out Clothes Circuit for some cashmere finds.
