Louis C.K. Has Been Dropped By His Team And FX (And Pamela Adlon Released A Statement)

Widely admired” comedian Louis C.K.’s (turns out he was actually jacking off to how awesome he thought he was) recent admission to beating off in front of five women who hadn’t requested such a service has pretty much lowered his career’s coffin into the ground. The Los Angeles Times reports that his manager, publicist, and the FX network (where a lot of Louis’ projects lived) have parted ways with him. He’s also been dropped from The Secret Life of Pets 2. Admiration is short-lived when you’re outed as a creepster.

In a statement yesterday, Louis confirmed the New York Times’ report claiming he had sexually harassed and visually assaulted five women (three comedians, a writer, and an unnamed woman who had worked on Chris Rock’s old show with him). No-Longer Lucky Louis has now found himself without a professional support system. His management company, 3 Arts, has “terminated” their relationship and said they are doing an internal review to see if Louis harassed any of their staff members.

Louis had a manager named Lewis. Lewis is probably going to visit the courthouse this week to change his first name to something that sounds a little less like his former client’s.

As of today, I no longer represent Louis C.K.

(Is that Mr. Roper from Three’s Company? Please don’t drag his good name into this.)

FX went from being very troubledto “yeah, no, fuck that guy.” They also offered Louis some advice.

“Today, FX Networks and FX Productions are ending our association with Louis C.K. We are cancelling the overall deal between FX Productions and his production company, Pig Newton. He will no longer serve as executive producer or receive compensation on any of the four shows we were producing with him – “Better Things,” “Baskets,” “One Mississippi” and “The Cops.”

However, now is not the time for him to make television shows. Now is the time for him to honestly address the women who have come forth to speak about their painful experiences, a process which he began today with his public statement.

He could start off with, you know, an actual apology to them. That’s what an “admired/admired/widely admired“ guy would do. Actress/writer/director (and, most importantly, Grease 2 cast member) Pamela Adlon has a longtime working relationship with Louis She was his wife in Lucky Louis on HBO, made frequent guest appearances on Louis on FX (in which Louis’ character once tried to drag her character into a bedroom for sex and kissed her sans consent), and he produces her current show, Better Things. In a statement via People, it’s obvious that she’s had better DAYS.

“Hi. I’m here. I have to say something. It’s so important. My family and I are devastated and in shock after the admission of abhorrent behavior by my friend and partner, Louis C.K.

“I feel deep sorrow and empathy for the women who have come forward. I am asking for privacy at this time for myself and my family. I am processing and grieving and hope to say more as soon as I am able.”

Louis, Spacey, and Weinstein (and seemingly 3 jillion other Hollywood types) would make for a helluva theatrical creep rehab group. Speaking of, do you think Robin Wright will release a “drop the lifeboats cuz’ I’m not going down with this ship” statement about President Crotch-Grabber (the gay one) anytime soon?
