I believe
there is a connection
between reading
a book
and
reading a person
or reading a place

Logically, it is not 

actually reading
it is reading and understanding.

And again

there is a connection here
The more you read,
the more you understand.
The more you understand,
the more you read.
It becomes an endless
journey.
Till you bring in
excuses
to spare you from reading.

I used to read a lot of books

because I used to understand
their stories, stories behind the stories,
persons,
places,
and everything else.

Craving for my power to read.
