Two weekends ago, I ventured out to Los Angeles, California for a college visit at the University of Southern California. If you recall, my trip to San Francisco last month was my first time out in CA, so LA can now be added to my list of cities. When we weren't at USC for admitted students events, we were exploring the vast city that is LA, embracing the traffic and the sunshine. During my visit, I also had the pleasure of meeting Megan of Tunes and Tunics, who showed me around campus. She is so incredibly sweet, and was so helpful!
One night that weekend, my mom and I were walking around the Grove and I spotted Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez from The Fosters tv show! You could say I was all sorts of star struck. The next day, we went by USC to buy a little (more like a lot of) collegiate apparel, and then we took an Uber to Santa Monica Pier. There were heaps of people, although our driver told us that the beach was emptier than usual because of Coachella. We walked along the pier, and sat down on a bench with the sun shining and good tunes to match. I can't wait to call LA home!
