Lootera starring Ranveer Sngh and Sonakshi Sinha has opened to poor response in the morning shows across the country. On the other hand the critics are going gaga over the film and terming its as film of the year so far. This mismatch in terms of critical reception and opening has taken the trade by little surprise as it expected the film to open well at least in the multiplexes where reviews play a key role and the reviews were already out two days before the actual release.
The trade however is optimistic that the film would pick up by evening at least as a film with this kind of reviews is sure to generate good word of mouth among the audience. Evening shows now hold crucial for the film to get to decent numbers at the end of the day.
