Look #5 – Nautical Arms

By Jsleigh14 @jsleigh14

Since I’m in the midst of exams this week, I’ve been reluctant to wear anything that needs any buttoning-up or tucking-in. Comfort comes first during these stressful times! As much as I like wearing comfortable basics, I try to pick ones that have a bit of a twist to them. In my last purchase from Topman, I got this funky crewneck sweater with contrast striped sleeves. While this sweater is practically loungewear, its slim fit and unique design makes it come off as trendy rather than sloppy.

I’m wearing:

Sweater – Topman // similar from All Saints
SunglassesRay-Ban
Shorts – Gap // similar from Nordstrom
BagAsos
Shoes – Lacoste // similar from Sebago

Look #5 – Nautical Arms

For the bottoms, I originally wanted to wear my red shorts that I always reach for during the summer. But to avoid looking too nautical, I instead ended up wearing these new neon yellow shorts I got from Gap. I like how my darker sweater tones down the brightness of these shorts; navy on yellow has always been one of my favorite color combinations.
