Verdict on Longlegs
Longlegs is a horror thriller following a rookie FBI agent helping track down a creepy serial killer. They have nothing to go on or any sign he was ever at the crime scenes. However, her abilities help unlock clues and unravel a devastating secret.
This movie is a deeply dark, disturbing and unsettling battle to find a serial killer. It feels like a mix of Silence of the Lambs and True Detective. This takes us down an alarming path, as the clues make every scene feel filled with tension. It takes us down a strange path where Nicolas Cage is truly fantastic as the serial killer. Maika Monroe is brilliant too, as her fear takes over everything that happens. This is easily one of the best serial killer movies in recent years and will stick with you for days.
