In this short series we're sharing our winter weather tips with our lovely London Walkers, a hardy bunch who join us rain or sleet in the winter months.

My winter cold prevention is something I never go without in my handbag - First Defence nasal spray from Vicks.
I have used it when needed for over three years, and have not had one cold or bad throat – something never conceivable till I discovered this. I always had at least two bad colds in the winter, but no more.
If you go on my Chelsea walk, we delve into royal land and see houses built in the early 1700's. Back then one cure for a head cold was to thinly pare orange peel, turn it inside out, and shove it up both nostrils. Not something you would want to display on the daily tube ride without getting some weird looks! Thanks Steph!
