London Walkers' Favourite Christmas Carols. What's Yours? #ChristmasCarols

London Walkers' Favourite Christmas Carols. What's Yours? #ChristmasCarolsDC Editor Adam writes…

Next week here on The Daily Constitutional I'll be taking a look at Christmas Carols in a London context – there will be a bit of history and a bit of trivia and, where possible, a London context for our favorite Christmas music.
This week I'm asking for your input on Twitter, Facebook & here on The Daily Constitutional. What's your favorite Christmas Carol or song?

This Christmas Eve the carol Silent Night is 199 years old. What's your favorite #ChristmasCarol or Christmas song? #LoveLondon #LondonMusic #ChristmasMusic — London Walks (@londonwalks) December 13, 2017

My own twopenn'orth? Well, this one has become something of an earworm for me this week…
Confession time.
I absolutely bloody totally and completely love Andy Williams. Which is not something I usually crow about while leading the Rock'n'Roll London Walk!
His Christmas album is, to my mind, THE Christmas album by which all others are judged. Johnny Cash, Tony Bennett, even Elvis – I love all of their Christmas albums – but Andy Williams leads the way. His album is the perfect balance of sacred and secular. And THAT voice, smooth and true, totally in service of the material - humbly so in the case of the carols. Beautifully done, so simple.
Who da man? Andy Williams: HE da man.
He also starred in our family Christmas card from 2014…

As you can see I make my family join in with my daftness. I am not easy to live with. Especially at Christmas.
I'm also a sucker for this kinda thing…
And Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without a bit of Bob…
And, of course, this one which celebrates its 30th birthday this year…
Here are all your faves to date (below). It's a lovely traditional list so far, but do remember that anything goes!
I'll be adding new ones as they come in from you guys and also from my London Walks colleagues. Enjoy…
