FOOD: Is Immigration Policy Creating a shortage of Curry Chefs?
The curry industry has found itself in a pickle: There are not enough curry chefs in Britain.
The Conservative government’s restrictions on immigration are causing an acute staff shortage, said Shahanoor Khan, the secretary general of the British Bangladeshi Caterer Association. Already, he said in an interview, a third of the nation’s 12,500 curry houses are facing closing because they cannot find chefs.

TRANSPORT: Is It All Over For the 24 Hour Tube? - BBC
Asked whether he could provide a date for the introduction of the 24-hour Tube, Mr Johnson said: "I've got to tell you this is something that the city of London has done without for 150 years. What I won't do is pay an unreasonable price for it, which Londoners would feel in their fares.

SPORT: Twickenham to Host NFL – Get West London
The National Football League has stuck a three-year deal with the Rugby Football Union (RFU), starting in October 2016, to stage American football games at the home of English rugby.
The NFL said the deal was for a minimum of three games over the period, with the possibility of two more being played at the venue during that time. The first match to be played at the stadium is due to be announced later this year. Full story in Get West London. Round Up…
