London Pride and My Genderation – We Need Your Help

By Cnlester @cnlester

I’m ridiculously excited to announce that, as part of the Transpose event for London Pride (June 28th – please invite everyone), My Genderation will be creating and showing some new footage – but only with your help.

We want to make sure that this event includes as many voices and viewpoints as possible – so, to that end, we’re asking trans people from around to world to send us their thoughts – on video. Answer any one of these three questions (or all three, in separate videos) – in less than a minute, and then send the results to [email protected] via www.wetransfer.com

  1.  What does being trans mean to you?
  2. What does ‘Pride’ mean to you?
  3. What has being trans taught you about love?

If you’re not comfortable appearing on screen then please feel free to talk off camera and film something that you feels represents you best – and please give a name that you’re comfortable for us to use and, if you can, your general location. So, for example – I could talk off camera with the camera focused on my piano, and give my location just as ‘UK’ if I wasn’t comfortable saying ‘London’.

My Genderation will obviously have final artistic control – but they’re an amazing and trustworthy duo, and I really hope you’ll be able to join us on this. Please spread the word, and happy Pride.
