Brunch @ The Riding House Cafe. 43-51 Great Titchfield Street, London, W1W 7PQ. Tel. No.: 020 7927 0840. Is there a better way to spend a Saturday morning than with three utterly awesome friends, brunching in the oozing sunlight? I think not.
The Riding House Cafe is a much talked about brasserie based right in the heart of London on Great Titchfield Street. It’s easy to find, bright and cheerful; think the air of an upmarket feel yet with all those rustic mismatched seating areas and reworked wood that London loves. Following a fun night at the Benefit pub for a blogger World Cup party, Aisling, Sarah, Sophie and I freshened up and headed over for a quick bite. It was fairly busy but we were seated quickly and with attentive service.
Sarah and I both went for matchy-matchy breakfasts: a creamy latte to get my caffeine levels back up to my usual and their Orkney Bacon Sandwich with tomatoes and avocado. Like, bacon and avocado? You just can’t go wrong, right? ;) I can confirm it was every part as good as it sounds and that is firmly back on my at-home breakfast menu.
Aisling opted for a classic Eggs Benedict and Sophie for the Chorizo Hash Brown. Their breakfast menu is pretty plentiful and there’s certainly something for everyone! I would have gladly eaten three breakfasts if that was socially acceptable! My only qualm is that they began taking empty plates away before we were all finished eating. Affordable, deelish and queue-less (for us), I’d definitely recommend a Riding House visit.
