This weekend I took a trip to the annual cheese and wine festival in London. It’s located on the Southbank about ten minutes walk from waterloo station.
The festival is a collection of stalls selling cheese and wine primarily locally sourced from London and the rest of the UK. There is lots of other foods on offer too. Have a look at the exhibitors.
Here a few highlights in pictures.
1. Weave your glass of red through the crowds. Plenty of stalls selling good quality wines.

2. By a plate of cheese and sit up high overlooking the festival to eat it. Select some nice looking bread to go with it.

Sit on these somewhat unglamorous stairs and enjoy your cheese and wine.
3. Its not all cheese and wine. I ate probably the best Indian paneer cheese wrap from Dosi Deli I have ever had but was too full to sample these frying potatoes.

Next year – maybe!
4. Its not all savoury at the cheese and wine festival. The slice of tiffin was a necessary purchase.

5. This stall sold cherry tree preserves which are worth a try if you have never sampled. The raspberry curd is a favorite.
