We’ve been fans of Lomelda for a while now and are really excited to hear that her new album ‘Hannah’ will be arriving via Double Double Whammy on 4 September. To whet the anticipation further, she has now released the video for its lead single, ‘Wonder’.
Lomelda’s Hannah Read says the song is ‘about working hard’ and that ‘it is my most fun song to play’ as she gets to sit behind the drum kit. It opens with acoustic strums and a hypnotic folk-meets-chamber pop sound as she gives advice (possibly to herself) about building up confidence and being more assertive: ‘When you get it, give it all you got, you said’.
