I recently found out about Lolas Place, a dog day care center in the Gosforth area, which also has it's own grooming parlour. It isn't too far from our house either, but they actually offer a 'bark and ride' service, where collection and drop off can be arranged for your little doggy friend.
Lola's Place offer both full and half day dog care with prices starting at £12.50 for a half day visit, which also includes access to large outdoor play and agility areas and it gives the owner access to Lola Cam, which is a live web cam where you can watch what your dog is up too. I think it's a great idea, but I honestly think I would obsessively watch it all the time.
Lola's Place is open Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm and seems like a great idea. I would love Archie to try somewhere like this - since our other dog, Carson died I do think he feels a little lonely and can be quite clingy, but somewhere like this would allow him to socialise with other dogs.
