Logan Paul withdraws defamation lawsuit against Coffeezilla

In a surprising U-turn, Logan Paul has deleted the video he made in response to Coffeezilla and said he’s sorry.

Logan Paul deleted a video in which he threatened to sue internet detective Stephen “Coffeezilla” Findeisen over a three-part series that called Paul’s CryptoZoo project a “scam.”

In a tweet from January 6, Coffezilla said that Paul has said he won’t go through with his threats to sue for defamation over the videos.

Findeisen showed a message from Paul that confirmed he had deleted his first response to Coffeezilla’s video series and apologized. He did this by sharing a screenshot from the CryptoZoo Discord server. It read :
“It was rash and misaligned with the trust issue at hand, so I called him today and apologized.”
“The war is not with Coffee. In fact, I’m grateful he brought this to light. I will be taking accountability, apologizing, and coming forward with a plan in the near future,” Paul added.

Paul’s January 3 reaction video to Coffeezilla’s accusations has been deleted from YouTube as of this writing. The tweet that links to the video is still up, as is his original post from December 23 that said the claims were “Not true.”

After Coffeezilla released the first of a three-part video series on December 17 accusing CryptoZoo of several business malpractices and calling out Paul, the project’s face, the two YouTubers engaged in a war of words.

In a video reaction to Coffeezilla that has since been deleted, Paul accused Coffeezilla of defamation and said, “I’ll see you in court.” Coffeezilla stated in his article that Paul may be “making a third response,” however at the time of writing neither Paul nor Coffeezilla have provided any additional information.
