This NASA TF-104G Starfighter is preserved at the Moffett Field Historical Society Museum located at Moffett Field. In 2009 this aircraft went through a complete restoration. Built in 1967 by Lockheed and Messerschmitt, this is one of two ex-Luftwaffe TF-104Gs that NASA received in 1975 and flown until 1994. Over the years the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has operated no less than 11 Starfighters for flight test purposes. Nikon D70s w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
