Taken during my first time attending the Andrews Joint Services Open House held here at the former Andrews AFB. The Department of Homeland Security operates eight P-3 AEWs that are used for border patrol and anti-drug duties. These are former USN aircraft, modified and equipped with the same Airborne Early Warning radar as fitted to the E-2 Hawkeye. Nikon D300 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
