The Allied Fighters P-38 Lightning rests on static display after the Heritage Flight demonstration during the 2012 California Capital Airshow. With the passing of Jeff Harris in 2013, the “Honey Bunny” artwork has since been removed. This P-38 changed hands in 2018, moving to her new home in Idaho as part of the Vintage Fighters collection. First flown in 1939, more than 10,000 Lightnings were produced, with ten currently airworthy examples. Nikon D300 w/18-200 mm.
