As part of the flight demonstration, this Raptor from the Air Combat Command F-22 Demonstration Team performs a weapons bay photo pass during the Los Angeles County Airshow. The ventral weapons bay can hold six AIM-120C Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) or a variety of bombs while the side weapons bays will hold AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles. Internal carriage of weapons preserves the stealth characteristics of the aircraft. First flown in 1997, they entered service in 2005 with a total production run of 195 aircraft.
