A F-117 stealth fighter seen on display at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. This Lockheed F-117A Nighthawk, 85-0803 “Unexpected Guest,” was unveiled in December of 2019.  This Nighthawk flew more combat sorties (78) than all other F-117s combined. This aircraft entered service in May 1984, during President Reagan’s administration, and was retired in 2007. First flown in 1981, the remaining fleet of stealthy aircraft was retired in 2008. Sixty-four F-117s were built, 59 of which were production versions with the other five being demonstrators/prototypes. Though officially retired, F-117s have been seen flying on active duty.
