On display at Elvis’ Graceland complex are two aircraft owned by the late performer. The smaller of the two is this Lockheed Jetstar, customized by Elvis and used primarily by his manager and staff during concert tours. Produced from the early 1960s to the 1970s, the Lockheed JetStar was the first dedicated business jet to enter service. First flown in 1957, it was also one of the largest aircraft in the class for many years, seating ten plus two crew. This example was built in 1960 and purchased in September 1975 by Elvis Presley while he was awaiting delivery of his Convair CV-880 “Lisa Marie”. The nickname for this JetStar was “Hound Dog II” and is one of two Jetstars owned by Elvis and/or his family. Fuji X-E2s w/18-135mm.
