This post is a vintage photograph of an F-104 that was taken at the annual Moffett Field airshow. This F-104 belonged to the West German Navy and was one of the two performing aircraft of the “Vikings” team (Marinefliegergeschwader 2). The “Vikings” went on a North American farewell tour in 1986 prior to retiring these aircraft. This was taken with my reliable Olympus OM-1 film camera.
