Airshows at Travis are always a great opportunity to see military transport aircraft since this is the home of the 60th Air Mobility Wing, the largest in the USAF. Here a Travis-based C-5M prepares to land after a flight demonstration during the 2017 Wings Over Solano airshow. The C-5M Super Galaxy is an upgraded version with new engines and modernized avionics designed to extend its service life beyond 2040.
