light of day
looming
walls caving in
dooming
feelings of gloom
consumingstill I persevere
try to push through to see the sky ever clear
the light of day oh so near,
but still so far away
not today, maybe tomorrow
no more paining, tears gone
the hurt and the sorrow
I hope
