When you spend the day swimming, boating, jet skiing, and running around in the sun with your crazy extended family and then have approximately 8 minutes to get dressed and ready for another family gathering, it goes something like this: throw on your comfiest dress and slouchiest cardi, add a curl or two to your lake hair and cover the rest with a hat, put on a coat of mascara and run out the door. They're your family, anyway: they have to tell you look good. ps: these are taken on just a small part of my grandparents' beautiful property in Idaho; one of my favorite places in the world. already missing it.
