Independent film magazine Little White Lies have announced a joint creative collaboration with Italian fashion label 55DSL and award-winning directors CANADA.
55DSL has been pioneering original Italian streetwear since 1994. Uniting fashion and creativity, the brand produces aesthetically stunning and unique collections through the versatile use of inspired graphics.
Early in 2012, 55DSL commissioned CANADA to produce ‘Beyond Mountains, More Mountains’, a short film detailing an Italian road-trip and it is this film that has inspired the collaborative project.
‘Beyond Mountains, More Mountains’ premiered at LWLies HQ in Shoreditch, and inspired art director Paul Willoughby to respond to the film’s stylistic motifs with six t-shirt designs realised in a variety of mediums – from woodcut to pen and ink.
A celebration of artistry and creativity, the LWLies x 55DSL collection is available now at the 55DSL Boxpark store and exclusively online at asos.com from 25 October 2012.
