We enjoyed a squishy catch-up hug, lunch and coffee at the ever-wonderful and welcoming Granger & Co. in King’s Cross, where we discussed our three B’s of interest: blogging, business and boys. What can I say?! We have our priorities in check! I must say, I always feel super motivated and even a touch intimidated when I hang with Ella; that woman is a serious boss. Wouldn’t mess with her, kids. We giggled like schoolgirls, planned like wonder women and even found time to shoot some outfit photos! There’s nothing like reminiscing old school blogging and embracing the new crowd all at the same time, eh?
Blogging is a pretty great thing. I’ve met some of my best friends through this thing, built a career and defied all odds of being called ‘a D-list wannabe’ in the lecture hall whilst studying fashion journalism. I’ve honed skills, developed passions and, you know what? I wouldn’t have half the enriched life that I do now were it not for me legging it out of the lecture hall on Thursday and Friday afternoons to attend events, go to scary meetings with cool people and hustle the hell out of my days and evenings. I’m shy. Awkwardly shy, even. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how thankful I am that I spent time fumbling around the early blogging community and for it to eventually find its’ worth in the industry.
I digress.
This got a little deep for an outfit post. I’m so glad for this online space and for the industry that we’ve solidified together. Whether you’ve been at it for 7 days, 7 weeks, 7 months, or, like me, 7 years, and whether you blog for fun or professionally, this is pretty great, huh?

3.2.17 Sometimes it’s good to throw caution to the wind, write off an entire day from your planned schedule and hang out with pals. And that’s exactly what I did the other mid-month Thursday. I grabbed my out-the-door bag, pulled on some warm layers and hopped on a train to hang with my girl Ella.We enjoyed a squishy catch-up hug, lunch and coffee at the ever-wonderful and welcoming Granger & Co. in King’s Cross, where we discussed our three B’s of interest: blogging, business and boys.
