Since Get On Down put out there “Gold Edition” of Sly’s There’s A Riot Goin’ On (check it in all it’s glory here) I have been revisiting the album a whole bunch lately (be it on some worn out vinyl) and am constantly amazed at how well it has held up over the years (the music, not the vinyl). Today’s Listening Room entry is the opening track on the album, “Luv n’ Haight”, if for no other reason that it is 150% complete badass awesome. Enjoy.
